Aero Plex theme created by Sonicexcess. Release date 16.05.07.

UPDATED 03.08.07 TO FIX PROBLEM AFTER WINDOWS UPDATE ERROR

This theme is inspired by the Plex theme originally seen on old beta versions of windows codename Longhorn.
I didn't want to re-create the Plex theme but create a modernised version to work with Vista.
I have tested the theme on both the X86 and X64 versions of Vista and currently know of no known problems with either version.

To be able to use this theme you will need a 2 things.

1. Uxtheme patch by Rafael to enable themes in Vista -

2. Sidebar styler by Stanimir Stoyanov to be able to use sidebar theme - [link]

this looks very cool; question, though: is it possible with the tools currently available to create a thin taskbar theme for vista (w/o resorting to WindowBlinds)?

I think it would be possible but as to how good you could make it, well thats the problem. Right now themeing on Vista is hard unless you resort to windowblinds and I for one will never do that. I hate it lol. But I'm hoping that by the end of this year there will be some new app's out to help with the way I make themes.

wait. this looks just like your slate theme only blue. are you going to be like nintendo, just repackaging (correct spelling?) the same theme over and over again in different colors? But on the other hand it is a very nice theme. also your startmenu lacks rounded corners. was that on purpose?

No its not just a recoulr, I had to make all the resources from scratch. I wish it had been as simple as recolouring lol
Yeah the square corners are on purpose because the original plex theme start menu had square corners.

I wont be doing another of this theme or the slate theme now, there was just so much demand for slate and plex themes that I decided to do them.
